Frequently Asked Questions
How do I combine two PDF files into one?↓
Upload both PDF files using the upload box, check the order (use the arrow buttons to rearrange if needed), then click "Merge PDFs". The result is a single PDF with the pages from both files in sequence.
Is there a page limit when merging PDFs?↓
There is no fixed page limit. Your browser's available memory is the practical limit. Most modern devices handle hundreds of pages comfortably. Very large PDFs (100+ MB each) may be slow to process.
Can I reorder the PDFs before merging?↓
Yes. After uploading, each file appears in a list with ↑ and ↓ buttons. Use these to change the order of the PDFs. The merged file will follow the order shown in the list.
Are my PDF files safe when merging?↓
Yes. Merging happens entirely inside your browser using pdf-lib, a JavaScript library. Your files are never sent to any server. You can use this tool offline once the page has loaded.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?↓
The tool attempts to open encrypted PDFs in compatibility mode, but password-protected files that require a password to open cannot be merged. Remove the password protection first using your PDF reader, then merge.
